BEAU IS GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!
June 4, 1991 - January 10, 2007
Mac, Belle and I will miss the big boy a great deal. But even at the last, he was a loving dog - a true Boykin Spaniel. Now I hope he and Sophie are playing together.
When God made the earth and the sky, the flowers and the trees
He made all the animals and the birds and bees
And when His work was finished, not one was quite the same.
He said "I'll walk this earth of mine and give each one a name".
And so He travelled land and sea, and everywhere He went
One little creature followed Him until its strength was spent.
When all was named upon the earth and in the sky and sea
This little creature said "Dear Lord, there's not one left for me".
The Father smiled and softly said "I've left you to the end.
I’ve turned my own name back to front and called you DOG, my friend"

A Much Loved and Special Part of the Family January 2007
Here is a pictorial history of me, Beau. Just a few images to let you know what my life has been like. Hope you enjoy what you see
Here I am when I was about 8 weeks old.
Here is me on the deck at an early age.
Teenage years can be very difficult when they make you pose for pictures.
Sometimes I just chose not to listen to what Mac and Ron had to say to me.
Then I started to look like a handsome dog.
I know that I have said the Mac and Ron never take me anywhere but they did take me to the beach one Thanksgiving.
They even posed for a picture with me.
But I really loved playing by the ocean.
Sometimes they let me go to the parties they throw. Here is a pic of me with my friend Rogers.
One good thing about snow is that I learned how to play catch by catching snowballs!!
Since I was early in the Boykin breed I happened to have a problem that was known as hip dysplasia. I had to have both of my hips operated on so I could be okay. Here is a pic that I really don't like to show.
Another trip that Mac and Ron took me on was to go to North Carolina to visit my mother, Daisy. Here is a pic of us.
Here is a pic that Mac and Ron really like of me. I think that is okay as far as pics go.
Long time friends of Ron and Mac, Ron and John, used to own a house that had a pool in the backyard. Here is a pic of me soaking up some sun by the pool.
At last but not least, here is a pic of me in the snowstorm from this past winter. Maybe Ron will put some other pics of my up soon.
